Abstract：It is a difficult and complex project to strengthen the scientific spirit and innovation educa-tion among contemporary university students.The scientific spirit contains rich educational thoughts and values.On the basis of elaborating on the connotation of scientific spirit,this paper analyzes the necessity and practical significance of cultivating the scientific spirit and innovation ability among uni-versity students,and puts forward the effective strategies for the cultivation of scientific spirit and in-novation ability of contemporary university students in a targeted way,which provides a reference strategy for universities to strengthen the cultivation of scientific spirit and innovation ability among the students.
