An example analysis of errors of editing and proofreading excluding standard of references in scientific and technological papers

Abstract：The editing and proofreading of references should pay attention not only to the standardization quality of the description,but also to the non-standard editing and proofreading issues.So this article summarizes eleven types of non-standard errors of editing and proofreading in reference materials,such as misspelled characters,missing words,excessive words,mistake one thing for another,nonstandard terminology,nonstandard proper noun,nonstandard English fonts,nonstandard typesetting format and so on.In order to avoid these errors,the journal editors should strengthen the idea that reference is an important part of scientific and technological papers,strengthen the awareness of responsibility of editing and proofreading,constantly improve the quality of editing and proofreading,and study the proper way to deal with errors.
