The characteristics of plastic arts and innovative design approach of western Liaoning puppet show

Abstract：Western Liaoning puppet show is a traditional Chinese folk puppet art rooted in Jinzhou,and plastic art is an important part of the puppet show.The figure design and production technology of western Liaoning puppet show embodies the wisdom and unique regional cultural connotation of the descendants of western Liaoning puppet show,which has important artistic and cultural value.Through field investigations,this paper analyzes the inheritance status,modeling characteristics and modern transformation of puppetry in western Liaoning province,and elaborates its unique plastic arts,and provides insights for the innovative design of cultural creative products of puppetry in western Liaoning province with regional cultural characteristics and reshaping of plastic arts characteristics.
