The Deconstruction and Reconstruction of the Identity for Female Based on the Analysis of Discursive Style for Powerful Women in Divorce Proceedings

Abstract：This paper, based on the transcription of 10 videotapes for divorce proceedings in court, tries to explore the discursive style for powerful women.One party in the divorce proceedings from the perspective of Critical Discourse Analyses in court languages likes vocabulary, grammar, text, and pragmatics and so on.The author tries to analyze the function of the aforementioned discursive stylist in constructing the powerful role, otherwise shaking the traditional view: presentation of powerless style for female discourse.This paper tries to provide some practical examples and enlightenment for powerless women in striving for the equal right to speak by unveiling the interactive relationship among discourse power and ideology.
