The Research of Composites PA6/OMMT/CaCl2 on Structure and Performance

Abstract：The composite material PA6/OMMT and PA6/OMMT/CaCl2 were manufactured by melt blend extrusion.The effects of mass ratio of OMMT to composite material on the crystallization and performance were studied.The experimental results of XRD, TEM and DSC show that as the OMMT content is increased, the crystallinity of PA6.is gradually decreased, and the crystallization temperature and melting temperature steadily are reduced.The tensile investigation exhibites with the increase of OMMT content, mechanical properties of PA6/OMMT/CaCl2 composites come down significantly, PA6/OMMT/CaCl2 composites tensile and bending strength of basic remains the same, the notched impact toughness slightly down.
