Effects of Common Additives on the Solubility and Dyeing Properties of Acid Blue K-4R

Abstract：The effects of propylene glycol,isopropyl alcohol,urea and N methyl pyrrolidone on dissolving of acid dyes K-4R were studied.After dyeing the fabrics' fixation rate,K/S,dry and wet rubbing,soaping fastness were further discussed.The results show that with increasing the amount of cosolvent, the solubility of dye is improved,but the fixation rate and K/S and wet rubbing fastness presents a downward trend,it is has no influence on dry rubbing and soaping fastness.
