Abstract：The chemical synthesis-based pharmaceutical wastewater is collected and treated according to their property and quality.Prior to mixing with other industrial water for the further treatment (hydrolysis/a-cidification-anoxic-aerobic treatment ),the high-strength pharmaceutical wastewater is firstly treated by the high-efficiency catalytic oxidation,flocculation,and anaerobic process.The result of operation shows that the process is stable and its effluent quality meets the Influent Standard of the Wastewater Treatment Plant in In-dustrial Park around Tai lake.This process will serve as an example for system design and upgrading of chemi-cal synthesis-based pharmaceutical wastewater treatment.
