Research and Application of Agglomerated Abrasive Grains

Abstract：Agglomerated abrasive grain is that of large grains which made of small grains cohered by adhe-sives.Owing to agglomerated abrasive grains merits of long grinding duration and easy self-sharpen,it has suc-cessfully applied to grind difficult-to-cut materials as coated abrasive belt recent years.It performs better than conventional abrasives to grind parts that made from the materials with more ductile.The fabricated method, development and prospect are discussed in this paper as well as suggestions on its developing in future.
