Preparation by Emulsion Polymerization and Application in Pigment Dyeing of Polyacrylate Adhesive

Abstract：In this paper,a kind of polyacrylate pigment adhesive which has excellent water solubility is prepared,and applied in polyester-cotton fabric pigment dyeing.The effects of emulsifying style,polymeriza-tion temperature,monomer ration and content on emulsion,film-forming and dying properties are explored. The results show that the excellent polyacrylate pigment adhesive can be obtained following these steps:adop-ting pre-emulsion method by stepwise feeding,at 40℃,adding initiator,pH 6.0,finishing pre-polymerization at 70 ℃,dropwise adding pre-emulsion at 75 ℃ for 3 hours,keeping warm for 1 hour at 80 ℃.The optimized compounding of adhesive is as follows:OP-10 2%,SDS 3%,BA 61%,MA 23%,SM 12%,AA 2%, N-MA 2% and APS 1%.
