Abstract：This paper first analyzes challenges faced by forensic experts when they carry out application studies of the legal language.Then this paper briefly introduces the main content of the book On Legal Dis-course Information and analyze the implications of the Discourse Information Theory in forensic linguistics.Fi-nally,this paper points out the shortcomings of this theory and proposes research questions that this theory should address.
