Study on the Automobile Sealent of the EPDM and EVA Blend

Abstract：In this paper, the automobile sealent of the EPDM/EVA blend is studied. The material is prepared u-sing EPDM/EVA as main body, DCP/TAIC as vulcanization system, TMTD/DM as vulcanization accelerator, MB/DNP as anti-aging system, 1010 as antioxidant, Cylinder oil/wax as the softener, Channel black as reinforcing system and Ul-trafine talc/calcium carbonate as filler system. The properties of the automobile sealent material are demonstrated by a series of experiment means. The results indicate that the automobile sealent material is with excellent performance and is suitable for automobile sealant material production.
