Medication Rules and Mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine Master Shen Baofan for Treating Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction Based on Data Mining Combined with Network Pharmacology Analysis

Abstract：Objective:Based on clinical prescription information,to analyze the medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine master Shen Baofan for treating heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF)by the data mining method,and to explore the mechanism of the core drug pairs in the prescriptions by the network pharmacology method.Methods:The prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine master Shen Baofan for treating HFpEF were collected.Using data mining methods the frequency were analyzed of prescription Chinese medicine use,four Qi and five flavors,meridian tropism,and conducting association rules and cluster analysis.The mechanism of core drugs for treating HFpEF was explored through network pharmacology methods.Results:The prescriptions involved 106 traditional Chinese medicines,with a usage frequency of 584 times.The top 8 traditional Chinese medicines with high frequency were Radix Astragali,Radix et Rhizoma Salviae Miltiorrhizae,Poria,Ramulus Cinnamomi,Radix Angelicae Dahuricae,Radix et Rhizoma Rhodiolae Crenulatae,Semen Lepidii,and Rhizoma Alismatis,which were first created by Professor Shen Baofan to form Qihong Decoction."Radix Astragali-Radix et Rhizoma Rhodiolae Crenulatae"was the core drug pair of the prescription.Through network pharmacology analysis,a total of 14 core target genes related to the action of"Radix Astragali-Radix et Rhizoma Rhodiolae Crenulatae"and HFpEF were screened by PPI network,and they played multiple effects on HFpEF through multiple targets and multiple pathways.Conclusion:The traditional Chinese medicine master Shen Baofan summarized the basic treatment methods for HFpEF as boosting Qi and warming Yang,warming yang and promoting urination,dissolving phlegm and dispelling stasis.Based on years of clinical experience,Qihong Decoction was first created,and Radix Astragali-Radix et Rhizoma Rhodiolae Crenulatae as the core drug pair exerted cardioprotective effects on HFpEF through multi-component,multi-target,and multi-pathway.
