Abstract:Objective:To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of heart failure complicated with anemia. Methods:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of heart failure complicated with anemia were searched by PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,WanFang Data,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),VIP,and China Biomedical Literature Service System(SinoMed)from the establishment of the database to April 2024.The quality of the included literatures was evaluated, and RevMan 5.4 software was used for Meta-analysis.Results:A total of 15 literatures were included, including 1 154 patients. The results of Meta-analysis showed that compared with the control group, the clinical efficacy of cardiac function(OR=4.15,95%CI 2.39-7.20,P<0.000 01),the effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome(OR=3.60,95%CI 2.49-5.20,P<0.000 01),hemoglobin(Hb)(MD=7.31,95%CI 4.97-9.66,P<0.000 01),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)(MD=2.83,95%CI 1.53-4.14,P<0.000 1)in the experimental group increased, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score(MD=-5.59,95%CI-6.51--4.66,P<0.000 01)and N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)(MD=-428.37,95%CI-647.05--209.70,P=0.000 1)in the experimental group decreased. Conclusion:The current evidence showed traditional chinese medicine with a better therapeutic effect on heart failure complicated with anemia.
