Abstract:Objective:To analyze the compatibility rules of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of metabolic syndrome with binding of phlegm and blood stasis syndrome based on data mining. Methods:The literatures for the treatment of metabolic syndrome with binding of phlegm and blood stasis syndrome from January 2010 to October 2023 were collected through China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),WanFang Data,VIP,and China Biomedical Literature Database. The database was established by using Excel 2021.The frequency, clustering and association rule analyses were conducted by using SPSS Statistics 25.0 and SPSS Modeler 18.0 software. Results:A total of 38 literatures were included, involving 102 kinds of traditional Chinese medicines,15 types of medicine categories, and the cumulative frequency of medication was 377 times. The top five most frequently used traditional Chinese medicines were Poria cocos,Alisma orientale,Salvia miltiorrhiza,Atractylodes macrocephala, and Astragalus membranaceus. The top five medicinal properties in terms of frequency were warm, neutral, cold, slightly cold, and slightly warm. The top five medicinal flavors in terms of frequency were sweet, bitter, pungent, light, and sour. The top five meridians with the highest frequency of channel entry were the spleen channel, liver channel, stomach channel, lung channel, and heart channel. The top five drug categories were supplement deficiency drugs, invigorating blood and dissolving stasis drugs, promoting urination and percolating dampness drugs, clearing heat drugs, and rectifying Qi drugs. The results of cluster analysis showed that when the intercept was 20,high-frequency drugs could be classified into five categories.Association rule analysis showed that Rhizoma Alismatis and Radix Astragali were the core drug pair. Conclusion:Clinically, traditional Chinese medicine for metabolic syndrome with binding of phlegm and blood stasis syndrome predominantly employed sweet-warm and bitter-neutral medicines. The therapeutic principles focused on invigorating blood and dissolving stasis, drying dampness and dissolving phlegm, while supplement Qi,fortifying the spleen and soothing the liver remained integral during the entire course of treatment.
