Abstract:Hypertension is a common chronic cardiovascular disease in middle-aged and elderly populations. Long-term persistence can lead to complications of the heart and brain blood vessels, seriously threatening patients' health. The traditional Chinese medicine theory of 'Yin Ping Yang Mi' and the traditional qigong guided by it have attracted much attention in the field of auxiliary treatment for hypertension. This study will deeply explore the pathogenesis of hypertension from the perspective of 'Yin Ping Yang Mi', including yin-yang imbalance in the liver, spleen, and kidney, as well as internal accumulation of phlegm-dampness and blood stasis, and the pathological changes at the micro-level. It also summarizes the clinical application research of traditional qigong in hypertension, providing new scientific evidence for the clinical treatment of hypertension.
