Abstract:Objective:To analyze the empirical medication for with phlegm-heat and intestine-stagnation syndrome in the acute phase of stroke in the past 40 years, and to demonstrate and evaluate the rationality and effectiveness of the theory of empirical diagnosis and treatment of phlegm-heat and intestine-stagnation syndrome in the acute phase of stroke. Methods:The databases were extracted and analyzed. Results:A total of 138 articles were included, including 129 self-designed prescriptions(93.48%)and 9 traditional prescriptions(6.52%).A total of 5 476 patients were treated.According to the classification of literature evidence levels, there were 109 A-level literature(78.99%),7 B-level literature(5.80%),and 21 C-level literature(15.22%).The commonly used traditional prescription in the A-level literature decoction dosage form was Taohe Chengqi Decoction(3 pieces),the commonly used self-made prescription was Xinglouchengqi Decoction and its modified prescriptions(39 pieces),and the commonly used traditional Chinese patent medicines and simple preparations was Xingnaojing Injection(3 pieces).High frequency drugs included rhubarb(89.86%),dannanxing(67.39%),Gualou(57.97%),mirabilite(44.20%),Fructus Aurantii(40.58%),Danshen(26.81%),Scutellaria baicalensis(23.91%),licorice(23.19%),acorus calamus(22.46%),and earthworm(19.57%).Conclusion:Xinglouchengqi Decoction is a commonly used representative formula in clinical literature for the treatment of phlegm-heat and intestine-stagnation syndrome in the acute phase of stroke. The theoretical logic of Xinglouchengqi Decoction in treating with phlegm-heat and intestine-stagnation syndrome in the acute phase of stroke is consistent and the system is complete.Commonly used clinical drugs include rhubarb,Dannanxing,Gualou, glauber's salt, fructus aurantii, salvia miltiorrhiza, scutellaria baicalensis, licorice, acorus calamus, and earthly dragon. On the basis of unblocking the internal organs, purging heat, and resolving phlegm, promoting blood circulation is also a routine treatment method for phlegm heat and organ syndrome in the acute stage of stroke.
