Clinical Efficacy of Nuanshui Zaotu Formula Combined with Levodopa and Benserazide Tablets in the Treatment of Parkinson's Disease(Yang Deficiency Causing Wind)and Its Impact on Cerebral Injury Indicators

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of Nuanshui Zaotu Formula in patients with Parkinson's disease(Yang deficiency causing internal wind)and cerebral injury indicators.Methods:Ninty-eight Parkinson's disease patients were selected as study subjects and divided into two groups according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with Levodopa and Benserazide Tablets,while the observation group received Nuanshui Zaotu Formula in addition to Levodopa and Benserazide Tablets.The clinical efficacy was compared of two groups.The Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale Part Ⅲ Score(UPDRS-Ⅲ)was used to evaluate the motor function of patients in both groups before and after treatment.The Non-motor Symptoms Scale(NMSS)was used to evaluate the non-motor symptom status of patients in both groups before and after treatment.The cerebral injury indicators[neuron-specific enolase(NSE),S100β protein,brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)]of the two groups before and after treatment were compared;The occurrence of adverse reactions was recorded.During the medication period,no significant liver or kidney function damage,cardiac function abnormalities,or abnormal blood routine tests occurred in either group.In the observation group,one case of dizziness and one case of skin itching were observed,with a total incidence rate of 4.1％.In the control group,there was one case of dizziness,one case of dyskinesia,and two cases of digestive tract reactions,with a total incidence rate of 8.2％.There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the treatment of simple Levodopa and Benserazide Tablets,the combination of Nuanshui Zaotu Formula with Levodopa and Benserazide Tablets is more effective in treating Parkinson's disease patients with Yang deficiency and wind transformation.It can effectively improve the motor function and non-motor symptoms of patients,regulate cerebral injury-related indicators,with better safety.
