The Exploration of the Academic Characteristics of Contemporary Traditional Chinese Medicine Masters in the Treatment of Chronic Heart Failure Based on SrTO

Abstract：Objective:To summarize the clinical research and medical experience of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)experts in treating chronic heart failure,analyze their academic thoughts and characteristics,and provide a reference for the treatment of chronic heart failure.Methods:Literature of the treatment of chronic heart failure by famous TCM practitioners was searched;the evidence was integrated and analyzed according to the systematic review of text and opinion(SrTO)method,and the academic characteristics of the treatment of chronic heart failure by contemporary TCM practitioners were discussed.Results:The TCM experts were explained with the theories of"supporting Yang theory"and"internal movement of collaterals and winds".The methods of comprehensive treatment and phased treatment were proposed.Several novel prescriptions,including Qiangxin Mixture,Luofengning No.2 Formula,Shenmai Ningxin Mixture,and Shunxin Capsules,had been developed.Drug use should focus on flexible addition and subtraction,mutual reference of property and management,and integration of Chinese and Western medicine.Conclusion:Contemporary Chinese medicine masters innovate,integrating TCM with Western medicine,grasping the diagnosis and treatment rules of chronic heart failure,and innovating theories,methods,prescriptions and medicines.The clinical efficacy of treating chronic heart failure is remarkable.
