Efficacy and Safety of Qili Qiangxin Capsules Combined with Conventional Western Medicine for the Treatment of Chronic Heart Failure Complicated by Atrial Fibrillation:a Meta-analysis

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Qili Qiangxin Capsule in treating chronic heart failure combined with atrial fibrillation.Methods:CNKI,VIP,WanFang Data,CBM,PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,and EMbase were searched for randomized controlled trials(RCTs)with Qili Qiangxin Capsules in the treatment of chronic heart failure combined with atrial fibrillation,with the search period ranging from inception to March 2024.Literature was screened according to inclusion and exclusion criteria.Review Manager 5.4 was used for Meta-analysis.Results:A total of 1 320 cases were involved in this Meta-analysis,with 660 cases in each group.The results of the Meta-analysis showed that Qili Qiangxin Capsules with conventional regimens in patients with chronic heart failure and atrial fibrillation improved the total clinical effective rate(RR=1.22,95％CI 1.17-1.28,P＜0.000 01),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)(MD=5.52,95％CI 4.26-6.77,P=0.34),reduced left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)(MD=-5.99,95％CI-7.36--4.61,P＜0.000 01),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)(MD=-6.68,95％CI-8.55--4.80,P＜0.000 01),N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-proBNP)(SMD=-3.93,95％CI-5.39--2.48,P＜0.000 01),and QT dispersion(QTd)(MD=-6.28,95％CI-6.99--5.57,P＜0.000 1).Conclusion:Existing evidence suggests that the combination of Qili Qiangxin Capsules with conventional treatment can improve the clinical efficacy in patients with chronic heart failure combined with atrial fibrillation,without serious adverse reactions.However,the conclusion needs to be verified by more high-quality research.
