Abstract:This paper summarizes the mechanisms, predictive indicators, pathogenesis, and research progress of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the prevention and treatment of in-stent restenosis after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for coronary heart disease. PCI has become one of the mainstream treatments for coronary heart disease due to its significant advantages, improving the survival rate of patients with severe and critical cases. However, adverse cardiac events after PCI, such as in-stent restenosis, remain a major issue affecting patients' postoperative quality of life. TCM has achieved remarkable results in treating in-stent restenosis after PCI for coronary heart disease, demonstrating unique advantages in the treatment of post-PCI coronary heart disease.
