Abstract:Objective:To compare the clinical efficacy of different herbal medicines in the treatment of chronic heart failure(CHF)with anxiety and depression by network Meta-analysis.Methods:The literature searches were systematically conducted across the following databases:China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),SinoMed,WanFang Database,VIP Database,Cochrane Library,Handbook. Results:A total of 21 papers were included in the literature, involving 1 768 patients,885 patients in the control group and 883 patients in the experimental group.Network Meta-analysis showed that:Shugan Jieyu Capsules combined with conventional Western medical treatment showed the most significant effect in improvement of clinical efficacy and reducing N-terminal pro-B type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)levels,while Qili Qiangxin Capsule combined with conventional Western medicine showed the greatest benefit in reducing Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)scores and improving left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF).In terms of the incidence of adverse reactions, there was no statistically significant difference between the seven TCM combined with conventional Western medicine treatment and conventional Western medicine treatment alone(P>0.05).Conclusion:This research evidence indicates that TCM combined with conventional Western medicine treatment can improve clinical efficacy, reduce NT-proBNP and HAMD scores, and improve LVEF,without obvious increased of adverse reactions. However, due to the quality and quantity of the included studies,high-quality research is still needed to further validate these findings and provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
