Abstract:Atrial fibrillation is one of the common arrhythmias, and its incidence and prevalence increase with age. Radiofrequency ablation is a first-line treatment for atrial fibrillation, which can improve patients' quality of life. However, there is still a high recurrence rate after atrial fibrillation ablation, further increasing the disease and economic burden on patients. Therefore, clarifying the factors related to recurrence after atrial fibrillation ablation is helpful for precise prediction and effective screening of patients, which can improve the success rate of surgery and benefit patients. This article reviews the research progress on non-surgical factors related to recurrence after radiofrequency ablation for atrial fibrillation.
