Abstract：Elevated blood glucose is an independent and important factor in the cardiovascular disease system, which has a significant impact on the progression of the disease and increases the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. This review summarizes the mechanisms by which acute and chronic hyperglycemia damage blood vessels and the condition of coronary artery damage.
