Abstract:Objective:The systematic evaluation of the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in treating patients with ventricular premature beat combined with anxiety or depression. Methods:The relevant literature from the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),VIP Database,WanFang Data,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),as well as PubMed,the Cochrane Library, and the Web of Science were searched from the establishment of the database until October 2023.The quality of the included literature was evaluated using the Cochrane Risk of Bias Assessment Tool.RevMan 5.4 software was used for Meta-analysis.Results:A total of 11 studies were included, involving 974 patients.Compared with western medicine alone, the traditional Chinese medicine group showed more advantages in improving the clinical symptoms of patients(RR=1.39,95%CI 1.27-1.53,Z=7.00,P<0.000 01),reducing the number of premature beats(SMD=-1.22,95%CI-2.11--0.34,Z=2.70,P=0.007),improving anxiety(Hamilton Anxiety Scale score,MD=-3.30,95%CI-4.41--2.19,Z=5.84,P<0.000 01;Self-Rating Anxiety Scale score,MD=-4.88,95%CI-6.26--3.50,Z=6.93,P<0.000 01),and improving depression(Hamilton Depression Scales score,MD=-2.94,95%CI-4.25--1.63,Z=4.41,P<0.000 1;Self-Rating Depression Scale score,MD=-4.52,95%CI-8.06--0.97,Z=2.49,P=0.01).Conclusion:Existing evidence indicates for patients with premature beat accompanied by anxiety or depression, the clinical effect of the traditional Chinese medicine group was significantly better than that of the western medicine group. However, due to the limitations in the inclusion of research quality and quantity,it needs to be treated objectively.More high-quality clinical randomized controlled trials are still needed for further verification.
