New Advances in Signal Pathways of Ventricular Remodeling in Chronic Heart Failure

Abstract:Chronic heart failure (CHF) is a complex clinical syndrome characterized by declining heart function and/or ventricular remodeling. Ventricular remodeling and myocardial fibrosis are key processes in the pathological development of heart failure (HF). Investigating the underlying signaling pathways is of great significance for targeted treatment of HF. Current research has found that multiple signaling pathways are closely related to the occurrence of CHF. Various forms of myocardial injury activate and regulate these signaling pathways and their downstream transcription factors, leading to pathological myocardial remodeling and reduced ventricular compliance, ultimately resulting in HF. This review summarizes the signaling pathways involved in ventricular remodeling in CHF, providing new insights for the treatment of CHF.
