Abstract:Objective: To explore the clinical value of low-dose 256-slice spiral CT angiography (CTA) in diagnosing coronary artery stenosis. Methods: A total of 224 patients suspected of having coronary artery stenosis were selected as the study subjects from July 2022 to March 2023. According to the gold standard of CAG examination, 160 patients were finally diagnosed with coronary artery stenosis and 64 patients without stenosis. Group B used a tube voltage of 120 kV and 75 mL iodixanol 350 for examination, while Group A used a tube voltage of 100 kV and 55 mL iodixanol 350. Results: Compared with Group B, Group A had a slightly lower image quality excellent rate, but the difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Both groups could display the stenosis of major and branch coronary arteries from multiple angles and directions. The images showed lumen stenosis of more than 90%, with multiple soft plaques in the proximal and middle segments of the left anterior descending coronary artery. Compared with Group B, Group A had higher contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) levels (P < 0.05). The accuracy of diagnosing coronary artery stenosis in Group A was higher compared to Group B (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Low-dose 256-slice spiral CT combined with coronary artery CTA has the advantages of minimal impact on image quality and high objectivity, and has high clinical diagnostic value for coronary artery stenosis.
