Correlation between the Disease Location and Risk Factors of Maizhang(Hypertension)Based on Blood Vessel Differentiation in the Real World

Abstract：Objective:To explore the correlation between different disease locations and risk factors of Maizhang(hypertension)in real world,to provide a scientific basis for the standardized diagnosis and treatment of hypertension in Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Methods:Using the multi-center cross-sectional survey method,demographics,TCM consultation information,laboratory examination and other data of 1 692 hypertensive patients from 53 general hospitals in 19 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions were collected,and divided into different disease locations according to blood-vessel syndrome differentiation.The correlation between disease locations and risk factors was analyzed by Logistic regression method.Results:The disease location of Maizhang was primarily located in the blood and vessels,involving the zang-fu organs.Female sex,smoking,and dyslipidemia were associated with an increased risk of the disease location in the blood(P＜0.05).Interventricular septal thickness and aspartate aminotransferase levels increased the risk of disease location in the blood,with a less extent(P＜0.05).Male sex,age,diastolic blood pressure,diabetes,dyslipidemia,carotid plaque,and history of stroke promoted the risk of the disease location in the vessels(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The disease location of Maizhang(hypertension)shows certain correlations with some risk factors.Female,smoking,and dyslipidemia are associated with disease location in the blood,while male sex,age,diastolic blood pressure,diabetes,dyslipidemia,carotid plaque,and history of stroke are associated with disease location in the vessels.
