Abstract：The 'Chinese and Western Medicine Integrated Prevention and Treatment Guide for Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy' is based on the project of the Beijing Municipal Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine's Office for the Prevention and Control of Diabetes with Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is led by Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and organized by experts in endocrinology from both Chinese and Western medicine fields as well as evidence-based medicine. The guide is formulated according to the principles of integrated diagnosis and treatment of Chinese and Western medicine, based on clinical research evidence and expert consensus. The content of this guide involves the diagnosis and treatment plans of diabetic peripheral neuropathy in both Chinese and Western medicine. The development of this guide aims to provide a reference for the standardized diagnosis and treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy in China, so as to improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
