Abstract:Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Tang in the treatment of anxiety disorders after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: A total of 80 patients with anxiety disorders after PCI were randomly divided into two groups. Both groups received routine basic treatment after surgery. The western medicine group was given Tandospirone, while the traditional Chinese medicine group was treated with Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Tang. The clinical efficacy, Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) scores, Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) scores, cardiac function indicators [N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) levels], and neurotrophic factors [nerve growth factor (NGF), brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)] were compared between the two groups. Results: The total effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine group was 95.00% (38/40), which was higher than that of the western medicine group at 77.50% (31/40), with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). After treatment, both groups showed lower SAS and HAMA scores, as well as lower serum NT-proBNP and CK-MB levels compared to before treatment, with the traditional Chinese medicine group showing greater improvement, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, both groups showed higher World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief (WHOQOL-BREF) scores and higher serum BDNF and NGF levels compared to before treatment, with the traditional Chinese medicine group showing greater improvement, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Tang in the treatment of anxiety disorders after PCI has a high clinical efficacy, significantly improving the patient's anxiety symptoms and cardiac function.
