Abstract:Objective: To explore the clinical characteristics of patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock, and to analyze the risk factors for short-term mortality. Methods: A total of 76 patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock admitted to our hospital from October 2017 to June 2021 were selected as the study subjects. A retrospective analysis was conducted based on their clinical data, including medical records, vital signs, laboratory tests, treatment conditions, and outcomes within 28 days. Results: The overall mortality rate was 28.9%. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the simplified acute physiology score II (SAPS II), use of invasive ventilator, elevated serum creatinine, and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) ≤40% were independent risk factors for short-term mortality in patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock. Conclusion: SAPS II score, use of invasive ventilator, elevated serum creatinine, and LVEF ≤40% are associated with short-term mortality in patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock.
