Abstract:Objective:To review the efficacy and safety of Erxian Decoction combined with conventional western medicine in the treatment of perimenopausal hypertension, and evaluate the evidence quality of the research indicators based on the GRADE system. Methods:PubMed,EMbase,Web of Science, the Cochrane Library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Chinese Academic Periodical Database(CSPD),Chinese Scientific and Technological Periodical Database(CCCD),and other Chinese and English databases were searched,to collect published erxian decoction RCT studies related treatment of perimenopausal hypertension. The search time was from the establishment of the database to December 2021.Statistical analysis was conducted using RevMan5.3 and Stata16.0 software. Results:A total of 14 RCT studies were included, involving 1 862 perimenopausal patients with hypertension. The results of the Meta-analysis showed that the modified erxian decoction combined with conventional antihypertensive Western drugs showed better efficacy in lowering blood pressure(RR=1.13,95%CI 1.06-1.21,P=0.000 4),E2 levels(SMD=2.68,95%CI 1.71-3.64,P<0.000 01),improvement of menopausal symptoms(RR=1.35,95%CI 1.20-1.53,P<0.000 01),and Kupperman score(MD=-3.42,95%CI-4.16--2.68,P<0.000 01)compared that of the control group. The incidence of adverse reactions was lower than that of the control group(RR=0.19,95%CI 0.07-0.53,P=0.002).Conclusion:Current evidence indicates that compared with the conventional antihypertensive drug group, the combination of Erxian Decoction and conventional antihypertensive drugs in the treatment of perimenopausal hypertension showed advantages in improving antihypertensive efficacy,E2 levels, menopausal symptom efficacy,Kupperman scores, and reducing the incidence of adverse reactions with better safety.
