Abstract:Objective: To analyze the efficacy of Bupi Tongluo Formula in the adjunctive treatment of coronary microvascular disease and its effects on immune function, vascular endothelial function, and coronary microcirculation. Methods: A total of 118 patients with coronary microvascular disease who visited Chengde Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine from January 2021 to March 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a study group, with 59 cases in each group. Both groups received conventional Western medicine treatment; the control group received ivabradine, while the study group received ivabradine combined with Bupi Tongluo Formula, for a total of three treatment courses. The clinical efficacy, immune function, vascular endothelial function, coronary microcirculation, cardiac function, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: After three treatment courses, the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). After three treatment courses, the levels of serum nitric oxide (NO), immunoglobulin A (IgA), immunoglobulin G (IgG), immunoglobulin M (IgM), coronary flow reserve (CFR), diastolic peak velocity (PDV), fractional flow reserve (FFR), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), and stroke volume (SV) in the study group were higher than those in the control group, while the levels of serum endothelin-1 (ET-1) and thromboxane B2 (TXB2) were lower (P < 0.05). During the treatment period, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Bupi Tongluo Formula as an adjunctive treatment for coronary microvascular disease can improve the patient's immune function, vascular endothelial function, coronary microcirculation, and cardiac function, enhance clinical efficacy, and has good safety.
