Abstract:Objective:Based on the analysis of NVX electroencephalography(EEG)peak frequency system index, the EEG difference characteristics of vestibular migraine(VM)patients with Tri-Jiao stagnation syndrome and Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity syndrome and healthy control group were explored.Methods:Thirty-two patients with VM of Tri-Jiao stagnation type and 32 patients with VM of Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity type were selected as the research objects, and 30 healthy normal people were selected as the control group. The baseline data were collected. The NVX EEG peak frequency system was used to collect the EEG data of the three groups of subjects in the quiet state with closing eyes. The MOTION TRAK motion balance instrument was used to record the comprehensive balance ability index of the two groups of VM patients. The VM patients were evaluated by Visual Vertigo Analogue Scale(VVAS),Dizziness Handicap Inventory(DHI),and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS0 scales.SPSS 25.0 software was used for statistical analysis to screen the differences between VM patients and healthy control group and between VM patients with different syndromes. Results:The NVX EEG peak frequency detection of VM showed that there were statistical differences in individual alpha frequency(IAF)between the two groups of VM patients and healthy controls(P<0.001).and there was no statistical difference in cognitive mapping level among the three groups(P>0.05).There was a significant negative correlation between IAF and VVAS,DHI,HADS-A in both left and right hemispheres of VM patients, and the correlation coefficient of HADS-A was the highest. The dominant alpha rhythm asymmetry ratio and lower limb and head balance comprehensive index of VM patients with Tri-Jiao stagnation type were higher than those with Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity group(P<0.05).The difference in IAF between the left and right hemispheres of the Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity group was statistically significant compared to the healthy control group(P<0.05),but there was no statistically significant difference compared to the Tri-Jiao stagnation group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with healthy people,VM patients shows abnormal alpha oscillation activity in the occipital region, and IAF may be an indicator of EEG difference between VM-related visual vertigo patients and healthy people.Compared with the Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity group, the patients with VM of Tri-Jiao stagnation type shows higher alpha rhythm regulation ability and balance ability, while the patients with VM of Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity may have a decrease in alpha oscillation activity compared with healthy people, which can provide some objective basis for traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation of VM.
