Abstract:The treatment of atrial fibrillation mainly includes thrombosis prevention and rhythm control. The traditional method for thrombosis prevention is oral anticoagulant therapy. In recent years, the development and promotion of left atrial appendage interventional closure have brought more benefits to patients. As a key means of restoring and maintaining sinus rhythm in patients with atrial fibrillation, interventional therapy has evolved from radiofrequency ablation and cryoballoon ablation to pulsed field ablation technology. Compared with traditional drug cardioversion and electrical cardioversion, it has significant advantages in treatment efficiency and effectiveness, with broad application prospects. This article reviews the progress, safety, and efficacy of interventional treatment for atrial fibrillation.
