Effects of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction Combined with Linggui Zhugan Decoction on Serum BNP,hs-CRP,Ang Ⅱ,and Cardiac Function in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the effects of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with Linggui Zhugan Decoction on serum brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ)and cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure.Methods:Ninety-six patients with chronic heart failure(CHF)were selected and randomly divided into two groups,with 48 cases in each group.The control group received conventional treatment,while the traditional Chinese medicine group was treated with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with Linggui Zhugan Decoction on the basis of conventional treatment.The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,serum indicators,cardiac function,quality of life,and clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients were compared.Results:After the treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of both groups decreased compared with those before the treatment,and the decrease was more obvious in the traditional Chinese medicine group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in the levels of serum BNP,hs-CRP and Ang Ⅱ between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of serum BNP,hs-CRP,and Ang Ⅱ in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment,and the levels of BNP,hs-CRP,and Ang Ⅱ in the traditional Chinese medicine group decreased more significantly,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD),and left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD)between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,LVEF in both groups increased compared with that before treatment,and LVESD and LVEDD decreased compared with those before treatment,moreover,the improvement of LVEF,LVESD and LVEDD in the traditional Chinese medicine group was more significant,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the quality of life scores of both groups decreased compared with those before treatment,and the improvement of the quality of life score in the traditional Chinese medicine group was more obvious,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of clinical efficacy in the traditional Chinese medicine group was 93.75％,which was higher than that of the control group(72.92％),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with Linggui Zhugan Decoction can reduce the levels of serum BNP,hs-CRP and Ang Ⅱ in patients with CHF and improve their cardiac function.
