Abstract:Objective:To explore the research status and trend of rheumatoid arthrite-associated cardiovascular diseases(RA-CVD)from the perspective of bibliometrics. Methods:The literature on RA-CVD published from 2010 to 2022 from the Web of Science Core Collection database. The characteristics of publications were analyzed and a visual knowledge graph was generated using VOSviewer,CiteSpace software, and the online bibliometric analysis platform, including publication year, country, institution, journal, author and keywords, etc. Results:A total of 2 221 literatures related to RA-CVD were included, mainly concentrated in North America,Europe, and East Asia.As time passed, the number of documents showed a increasing trend. The United States was the country with the greatest number of documents. The University of Manchester and the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases were respectively the most active institutions and journals.Professor Kitas G D published the largest number of literatures and citations and was the most influential author in this field.Keyword analysis revealed keyword clusters including the etiology, pathology, prognosis, biomarkers, and treatment aspects of RA-CVD,and angiography, thrombosis, drug treatment and signaling pathways would become the main hotspots and directions for future development. Conclusion:This study conducts a systematic and comprehensive research of RA-CVD by bibliometric. This result will providing a practical source for researchers to understand the key information in this field and identifying potential future research frontiers and hot directions.
