Abstract:Objective: To study the correlation between TCM syndrome types and apolipoproteins in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods: A prospective study was conducted on 200 hospitalized patients diagnosed with AMI and underwent coronary angiography at Foshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January to December 2022. Lipid-related indicators were collected, and TCM syndrome differentiation was performed. The correlation between different TCM syndrome types and apolipoproteins in AMI patients was analyzed. Results: There were statistically significant differences in TG, TC, LDL-C, ApoB, ApoA-1, and ApoB/ApoA-1 among patients with different TCM syndrome types (P < 0.05), while no significant differences were found in HDL-C and LP-a (P > 0.05). Among them, TG, TC, LDL-C, ApoB, and ApoB/ApoA-1 were highest in patients with the syndrome of phlegm-stasis intermingling, relatively high in qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, and lower in other syndrome types. Conclusion: There is a certain relationship between TCM syndrome types and ApoB, ApoA-1 in AMI patients, with the syndrome of phlegm-stasis intermingling being the most obvious, indicating that ApoB and ApoA-1 may serve as auxiliary diagnostic indicators for the syndrome of phlegm-stasis intermingling in AMI patients.
