A Meta-analysis of Clinical Efficacy and Hemorheological Effect of Ginkgo Honey Ring Oral Solution in the Treatment of Ischemic Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the clinical efficacy and hemorheology of Ginkgo Biloba Honey Ring Oral Solution in the treatment of ischemic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Methods:The literatures of CNKI,WanFang,VIP,PubMed,EMbase,MedLine,and the Cochrane Library from inception to August 31,2023 were searched,and randomized controlled trials of Ginkgo Biloba Honey Ring Oral Solution in the treatment of ischemic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases were collected according to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.Methodological evaluation was performed using RevMan 5.4 software,and Meta-analysis of clinical efficacy and hemorheology was performed.Results:A total of 32 studies including 3 672 patients were included in the Meta-analysis,and the results showed that the total effective rate of Ginkgo Honey Ring Oral Solution combined with conventional medication in the treatment of ischemic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases(RR=1.23,95％CI 1.19-1.27),as well as in improving electrocardiogram manifestation(RR=1.20,95％CI 1.10-1.32),reducing the frequency of angina pectoris attacks(SMD=-2.45,95％CI-3.12--1.79)and duration(MD=-2.59,95％CI-3.09--2.09),lowering the dosage of nitroglycerin(MD=-0.34,95％CI-0.49--0.18),reducing the National Institutes of Heaith Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score(MD=-4.46,95％CI-6.67--2.24),increasing the Barthel index(MD=13.66,95％CI 12.90-14.42),lowering plasma viscosity(MD=-0.79,95％CI-1.00--0.57),platelet aggregation rate(MD=-7.23,95％CI-8.91--5.54),and fibrinogen levels(MD=-1.02,95％CI-1.19--0.85),and increasing vascular endothelial growth factor(MD=16.30,95％CI 10.56-22.03)were all superior to that of the conventional treatment group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Available evidence suggests that Ginkgo Biloba Honey Ring Oral Solution combined with conventional medication shows clear clinical efficacy in the treatment of ischemic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,which can significantly improve the blood rheology and vascular endothelial function of patients,and its efficacy may be related to the course of treatment.
