Abstract:This review focuses on the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) mediated inflammatory signaling pathway and the advantages of compound Chinese medicines in anti-inflammatory effects, immune enhancement, and cardiovascular protection. When the heart is stimulated, the NF-κB signaling pathway is activated, releasing inflammatory mediators such as interleukin 6 (IL-6), interleukin 1 beta (IL-1β), and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), which promote the occurrence and development of myocardial hypertrophy. Inhibiting the activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway to reduce immune inflammatory responses is an important approach in the treatment of myocardial hypertrophy.
