Systematic Review and Pharmacoeconomic Analysis of Qiangli Dingxuan Tablets for the Treatment of Vertigo and Hypertension

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and economy of Qiangli Dingxuan Tablets for the treatment of hypertension and vertigo.Methods:The Chinese and English literatures of Qiangli Dingxuan Tablets for the treatment of hypertension and vertigo were retrieved from China Knowledge Network,WanFang Data Knowledge Service Platform,VIP Database,China Biological Literature Database,Cochrane Library,Embase,Medline,Springer Link,Web of Science,China Clinical Trials Registry,and US Clinical Trials Registry(ClinicalTrials.gov).The search period was from the establishment of the database to March 22,2023.The included literatures were screened and data were extracted in NoteExpress.The risk of bias was evaluated by the Cochrane collaboration tool.The effectiveness was evaluated by RevMan 5.3.Pharmacoeconomic evaluation was conducted with the costs of each treatment plan.Results:Finally,17 literatures were included,involving 1 512 patients.In the Meta-analysis,the results of the effectiveness analysis showed that the effective rate of Qiangli Dingxuan Tablets combined with conventional Western medicine for the treatment of hypertension and vertigo was higher than that of conventional Western medicine alone(P＜0.05).The improvement degrees of hemorheological indicators,TCM symptom scores,and cerebral blood flow indicators were superior to those of conventional Western medicine alone(P＜0.05).The results of pharmacoeconomic evaluation show that,compared with conventional Western medicine alone,the incremental cost-effectiveness ratios of Qiangli Dingxuan Tablets combined with conventional Western medicine for the treatment of the hypertension and vertigo were 36.66 and 35.97,respectively.Conclusion:Existing evidence indicates that Qiangli Dingxuan Tablets are more effective in the treatment of hypertension and vertigo,it can lower blood pressure and improve vertigo,with certain economic value.
