Abstract:Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Xionobi No. 3 Formula in patients with post-PCI angina pectoris of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. Methods: A total of 102 patients were randomly assigned to treatment group and control group using SPSS 20.0 software, with 51 cases in each group. During the study, 2 patients dropped out from each group, leaving 49 patients in each group. All patients received standard internal medical treatment according to guidelines, while the treatment group also received Xionobi No. 3 Formula for a course of 3 months. The changes in TCM syndrome scores, efficacy on angina pectoris and electrocardiogram, Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ) scores, and serum levels of nitric oxide (NO) and endothelin-1 (ET-1) were observed and compared before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was 91.84%, while that in the control group was 69.39%, with significant statistical difference (P < 0.005). The total effective rate of angina pectoris in the treatment group was 93.88%, compared to 69.39% in the control group, showing significant statistical difference (P = 0.002). After treatment, both groups showed decreased TCM syndrome scores and serum ET-1 levels compared to before treatment, with the treatment group showing lower values than the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, both groups showed increased SAQ scores and serum NO levels compared to before treatment, with the treatment group showing higher values than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Xionobi No. 3 Formula treats post-PCI angina pectoris by focusing on the spleen, which can improve patients' quality of life and physical function, and enhance vascular endothelial function.
