Abstract:Objective: To analyze the current research status, hotspots, and trends in the treatment of sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy over the past 10 years. Methods: Using China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) as the data source, literature related to the treatment of sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy published publicly between 2013 and 2023 was retrieved and screened. The CiteSpace 6.1 R6 software was used to analyze authors, keywords, and institutions of the included literature, and to draw visual analysis maps. Results: A total of 204 papers were included. The number of publications on the treatment of sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy has shown an overall increasing trend over the past 10 years. There are 268 main researchers, forming three stable academic teams represented by KAN Jianying, LIU Nana, LÜ Pin, NIU Xiaojuan, PAN Shihai, and LIN Maoen. Research forces are concentrated in traditional Chinese medicine universities, especially Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China Medical University, Hebei Medical University, Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Only a few affiliated hospitals of medical universities. Currently, sepsis, myocardial injury, and myocardial depression are the continuously focused research hotspots, while treatment, prognosis, and application effectiveness are key evaluation indicators. Inflammatory response, anti-inflammatory effects, and pathogenesis are the main directions for future research. Conclusion: The application of knowledge mapping visualization analysis method intuitively demonstrates the research status and hotspots of sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy in the past 10 years, providing a theoretical basis for clinical treatment and mechanism research of sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy.
