Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Xintong Oral Liquid in the treatment of angina pectoris(AP).Methods:Randomized controlled trials(RCT)of Xintong Oral Liquid in the treatment of coronary heart disease angina pectoris were searched by from China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wipro Chinese Full-text Database of Scientific and Technological Journals(VIP),Wanfang Database,PubMed,Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library. The search time was from the self-established database of each database to December 31,2022.Two independent evaluators screened the retrieved literature, and conducted data extraction and literature quality evaluation for the final included studies.Meta-analysis of the included studies was performed using RevMan 5.3 software. Results:Ten studies were eventually included, involving 979 patients. The overall quality of the included studies was modest. The results of Meta-analysis showed that the treatment of CHD angina pectoris based on Xintong Oral Liquid combined with standardized Western medicine was superior to that of Western medicine alone in terms of angina pectoris efficacy(RR=3.79,95%CI 1.93-7.45,P=0.000 1),electrocardiogram efficacy(RR=2.07,95%CI 1.40-3.06,P=0.000 2),weekly frequency of angina pectoris attacks(MD=-3.57,95%CI-5.79--1.35,P=0.002),and duration of angina pectoris(MD=-1.59,95%CI-2.92--0.26,P=0.02).Conclusion:Current evidence shows that the addition of Xintong Oral Liquid in the treatment of angina pectoris on the basis of conventional western medicine can improve the clinical efficacy.Due to the quality limitation of the included literature, further confirmation of high-quality randomized controlled trials with rigorous design and reasonable sample size is still needed.
