Abstract:Hemiplegia is the most common functional impairment caused by stroke, which severely affects patients' motor function and daily living abilities. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) rehabilitation for stroke hemiplegia is guided by the TCM holistic concept and syndrome differentiation treatment theory, while emphasizing the basic concepts of stage-based treatment and combined therapy. Through treatment strategies such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, cupping, and comprehensive TCM rehabilitation programs, it effectively promotes the balance of yin and yang in the body and functional recovery. However, how to select and determine the optimal TCM rehabilitation plan and promote TCM rehabilitation to the international community remains an urgent issue.
