Abstract:Acute myocardial infarction can be divided into obstructive and non-obstructive coronary artery myocardial infarction. In recent years, non-obstructive coronary artery myocardial infarction has increasingly attracted the attention of clinical physicians. Enhanced external counterpulsation is a non-invasive auxiliary circulatory method used to treat ischemic cardiomyopathy. Its long-term therapeutic effects on patients with chronic cardiomyopathy and its significant impact on cardiac function have been widely recognized and promoted by the international scientific community. Although there is a large amount of data indicating that enhanced external counterpulsation has a significant effect on non-obstructive coronary artery myocardial infarction, due to the complex etiology of non-obstructive coronary artery myocardial infarction, this study aims to summarize the main reasons for the treatment of non-obstructive coronary artery myocardial infarction using enhanced external counterpulsation.
