Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in treating Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome of coronary heart disease. Methods:Randomized controlled trials on the treatment of Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis of coronary heart disease by integrated Chinese and Western medicine were included in China Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),China National Knowledge Network(CNKI),WanFang Database and Chinese Science and Technology Journal Full-text Database(VIP)from June 2013 to June 2023 were searched.Cochrane bias risk assessment criteria were used to evaluate the methodological quality of included studies from randomization, assignment, concealment, blinding, withdrawal and loss of follow-up.RevMan 5.4 software was used to summarize and analyze the data included in the literature.Results:Finally,29 studies were included, involving 3 554 patients.Compared with conventional treatment with western medicine alone, the combination of Chinese and western medicine could improve the curative effect of TCM syndrome(OR=6.07,95%CI 2.92-12.62,P<0.000 01)and electrocardiogram(OR=3.27,95%CI 2.30-4.63,P<0.000 01),efficacy of angina pectoris(OR=4.69,95%CI 3.47-6.36,P<0.000 01),clinical efficacy(OR=3.93,95%CI 2.93-5.25,P<0.000 01),reduction rate of nitroglycerin(OR=5.20,95%CI 1.76-15.32,P=0.003),decrease TCM syndrome score(MD=-3.43,95%CI-4.54--2.33,P<0.000 01),chest tightness score(MD=-1.15,95%CI-1.77--0.54,P=0.000 3),chest pain score(MD=-0.98,95%CI-1.54--0.43,P=0.000 5),shortness of breath score(MD=-0.68,95%CI-1.09--0.27,P=0.001),incidence of endpoint events(OR=0.27,95%CI 0.12-0.61,P=0.002),decrease total cholesterol(MD=-0.74,95%CI-0.96--0.51,P<0.000 01),triglyceride(MD=-0.61,95%CI-0.97--0.25,P=0.000 9),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(MD=-0.61,95%CI-0.72--0.50,P<0.000 01),and increase high density lipoprotein cholesterol(MD=0.13,95%CI 0.01-0.24,P=0.03).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P=0.29).Conclusion:Existing studies have shown that traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine shows more advantages for the treatment of coronary heart disease syndrome of Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis than western medicine alone.
