Abstract:Objective:To explore the characteristics of coronary plaque components and nourishing vessels in patients with stable angina pectoris(SAP)and acute coronary syndrome(ACS)by ultrasonography. Methods:The clinical data of 89 patients who underwent intravascular ultrasonography(IVUS)were retrospectively analyzed, including 41 patients with SAP and 48 patients with ACS.The characteristics of plaque components and nourishing blood vessels were compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference in plaque volume, fibrous tissue and necrotic tissue plaque composition between 2 groups(P>0.05).The fibrous adipose tissue in ACS group was higher than that in SAP group, and the calcified tissue was lower than that in SAP group(P<0.05).The area of external elastic membrane, plaque area and plaque load in ACS group were higher than those in SAP group, and the area of lumen was lower than those in SAP group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the area of proximal reference cross section, outer elastic membrane area, plaque area, plaque load and lumen area between two groups(P>0.05).There was no statistical significance in the occurrence rate of minimum lumen cross-section of trophoblast vessels between the two groups(P>0.05).The occurrence rate of nutrient vessels in the proximal and distal reference cross sections in ACS group was higher than that in SAP group(P<0.05).The average number of trophotrophic vessels in ACS group was higher than that in SAP group in minimum lumen, proximal and distal reference sections(P<0.05).Conclusion:There is no significant difference in the proportion of various components in coronary plaque between SAP and ACS patients, but the number of plaque nourishing vessels in ACS patients is higher than that in SAP patients. Therefore,it is feasible method to evaluate plaque vulnerability with plaque component characteristics, and the characteristics of nourishing vessels.
