Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effects of Baduanjin training on cardiac function in patients with ejection fraction preserved heart failure after acute myocardial infarction. Methods:One year after acute myocardial infarction, the patients with left ventricular ejection fraction≥50% were selected and divided into control group and exercise group according to the principle of randomized control, with 27 cases in each group. The patients of control group were treated with standard western medicine, and the patients of exercise group were treated with Baduanjin combined with standard western medicine. In the first week of admission, cardiopulmonary function, and 6 min walking distance were detected. After 6 months of intervention, patients'cardiopulmonary function,6 min walking distance and other indicators were detected again. The left atrial volume index and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were observed.Cardiorespiratory function was measured by kilogram peak oxygen uptake(peakVO2/kgmax),anaerobic subthreshold metabolic equivalent(AT-METs)and maximum metabolic equivalent(METs).Results:After 6 months of intervention,peakVO2/kgmax,AT-METs and maximum METs in the control group were lower than that before treatment, while LVEF,peakVO2/kgmax,AT-METs and maximum METs in the exercise group were higher than that before treatment.LVEF,peakVO2/kgmax,AT-METs and maximum METs in the exercise group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).After 6 months of intervention, the 6 min walking distance of the exercise group was longer than that before intervention, while that of the exercise group was longer than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion:Short-term Baduanjin exercise could not benefit significantly patient's left atrial heart remodeling, but it could be used to improve cardiopulmonary function and exercise tolerance, and help optimize quality of life.
