Abstract:Objective:The research hotspots and trends of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors(ACEI)for the treatment of hypertension in the database of Web of Science were analyzed by visualization method to provide direction for future research. Methods:The"(((angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors OR ACE inhibitors)OR ACEI))(Topic)AND hypertension(Topic)AND article OR review(Document Type)using of the Web of Science database from 2010 to 2021 were searched. The trend of publication volume was analyzed by GraphPad Prism 8.02 software.VOS-viewer software was used to perform co-authorship analysis(country,institution),co-citation analysis(author, reference)and keyword co-occurrence analysis. Results:A total of 4 845 literatures were included for analysis. The results showed that the number of literatures published in the past 12 years was the lowest(326)in 2018,and the overall trend decreased and then increased.Hypertension(113 articles,2.33%)was the most publications. The country with the grentest number of articles was the United States(1 378 literatures,28.44%).The institution with the largest number of publications was Harvard University(133 literatures,2.75%).Yusuf Salim(1 399 citations)was the author with the first citation frequency. The top 10 literatures with high quality were cited 2 955 times. The cluster analysis of 195 keywords that appeared more than 50 times were the mechanism of action of ACEI in the treatment of hypertension, the combination of ACEI with other drugs in the treatment of hypertension and its complications, the risk and prognosis of ACEI in the treatment of hypertension, and the application of ACEI in renal hypertension. Conclusion:At present, the United States shows a significant influence for the treatment of hypertension, including the mechanism of action of ACEI in the treatment of hypertension, combined drug use,and the outcome of hypertension. The future research trend will be the ACEI safety study for the treatment of hypertensin with Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)infection.
