Clinical Observation on Xuezhitong Capsule and Atorvastatin in the Treatment of Hyperlipemia Complicated with Fatty Liver

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Xuezhitong capsule(XZTC)and atorvastatin in the treatment of hyperlipemia complicated with fatty liver.Methods One hundred patients with hyperlipidemia complicated with fatty liver were randomly divided into two groups:control group(n =50)treated with atorvastatin calcium tablets,and observation group(n =50)treated with XZTC in the basis of atorvastatin calcium tablets for 8 weeks.The efficacy and safety were observed.Results The total effective rate of hyperlipidemia was 96％ in observation group,which was higher than that in control group(86％,P <0.05).The total effective rate of fatty liver was higher in observation group than that in control group(94％ vs.80％,P <0.05).No adverse reactions occurred in the observation group.Conclusion XZTC and atorvastatin calcium tablets is more effective than atorvastatin calcium tablets alone in the treatment of hyperlipidemia with fatty liver,and has fewer side effects.
